For some reason, while I was watching this I got a picture how dudes in the 90’s were smoking. It was kind of a trip, I think because I was high. Good movie though. I always wanted to see how it was like to smoke weed in the different eras, like how it was during the vietnam war, or during the 80s or 90s. It’ll be a trip, going back and see how marijuana evolved. They also introduced medicinal marijuana in this movie, before everyone was smoking some natural herb, and now they got hybrids and cross breeds and shit. And when you think about it now, medicinal marijuana is what’s usually smoked now a days. Damn, marijuana got potent. Anyways, this movie was dope, though I think Dave Chappelle was better when he had his own tv show. I wanna be that guy on the couch.

Yeah I know what you guys are thinking, what the fuck is this post about? Honestly, I don’t even know. I’m flying right now. Don’t ever suck dick for weed.

When life imitates art or the other way around.. and when Method Man plays a drug dealer in this upcoming movie, called ‘The Wackness’. It seems pretty fresh, although there have been many disappointing reviews about Meth’s butchered Jamacian accent, but we cant ask for everything in a movie, can we?

from wiki:
It’s the summer of 1994, and the streets of New York are pulsing with hip hop and wafting with the aroma of marijuana. The newly-inaugurated mayor, Rudolph Giuliani, is only beginning to implement his initiatives against crimes such as noisy portable radio, graffiti and public drunkenness.
“The Wackness” centers upon a troubled high school student named Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck)—a teenage marijuana dealer who forms a friendship with Dr. Jeffrey Squires (Ben Kingsley), a psychiatrist and kindred lost soul. When the doctor proposes Luke trade him marijuana for therapy sessions, the two begin to explore both New York City and their own depression.
On the real, I’d probably go out of my way to check this out, it doesnt seem half that bad especially since it recieved an award at the Sundance Film Festival. Trailer after the jump:
Seth Rogen and James Franco really look like they’ve really outdone themselves in this film. This feels like what we’ve all been waiting for in regards to a ’stoner-action’ flick. I ALWAYS go for Judd Apatow movies, they always have that tongue-in-cheek humor that I’d expect from real life.
according to Wikipedia:
Lazy stoner and process server Dale Denton (Rogen) has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (Franco): to purchase cannabis, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express that is hot on the drug market. Saul genuinely wants to befriend him, but the selfish Dale is only interested in gaining access to the weed. When he becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and the city’s most dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole), he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the crime scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him, which it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they’re not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both.
